Founded in 2019, Ellipsis responds to the persistent underrepresentation of women and non-binary artists within commercial and institutional structures. We work at formative moments in artists’ trajectories, producing focused editions that support artists’ development. Each project extends an artist’s practice into print—not as reproduction, but as translation.

Daisy Parris’s distinctive artistic voice connects with viewers on an emotional level. Inspired by personal experience, Daisy’s paintings are a visceral response to everyday life, documenting gut feelings, thoughts and memories. The aim of the initiative is to challenge museums and galleries to reassess the number of women and non-binary artists they exhibit, represent and collect. We want to draw attention to women and non-binary artists and the fact that they remain marginalised, undervalued and underrepresented.
