For this print, Alexi Marshall reimagines the Major Arcana tarot card from the rider-Waite deck. The card represents mastering raw emotions & cultivating inner strength. In the piece we see a wolf-woman hybrid, a recurring motif in Marshall’s practice, a symbol of the primal nature that lies within us all. A cityscape in the background disrupts the fantasy bringing us back to the present as we are reminded of the parks, buildings and environments around us.
